Gilbert James Rooth and Susan Rodgers Rooth are natives of Buffalo, NY.

Susan lived in West Seneca and graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo in 1971 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  She then traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida to attend Stetson University College of Law from 1971-1974.

Susan began practicing law with an attorney/certified public accountant. Her practice included corporate and business law. In 1986 she left to join Gilbert's growing firm and together they formed Rooth & Rooth, P.A. She now limits her practice to the areas of wills, trusts, probate and trust administration, Medicaid planning, and real estate.

Susan is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Association of Elder Law Attorneys, the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Living for Seniors (BLS).

 

Gilbert was raised in Hamburg, NY and graduated from Canisius College in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  In 1974 he graduated from Stetson University College of Law.

After graduating from law school Gilbert worked for William P. Dunlap in Seminole, Pinellas County, Florida. Mr. Dunlap's practice was limited to the areas of wills, trusts, probate and trust administration. In 1976 Gilbert left Mr. Dunlap's office to start his own general practice in Seminole. Ten years later, in 1986, Gilbert took over Mr. Dunlap's practice. He now practices exclusively in the areas of wills, trusts, probate and trust administration and real estate. He specializes in dealing with the elderly.

Gilbert is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Association of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Seminole Chamber of Commerce.
